about me
Office worker by day, aerobics, pilates, aqua instructor evenings and weekends. I sit on a Fit Ball all day at work, wearing my crocs or my MBTs - my way of rebelling against office work!
Thanks to everyone who sponsored us for our Inca Trip - I'm gradually adding more photos! In total we raised about £800 for The Anthony Nolan Trust and the NHS Trust I used to work for

hobbies
Keeping fit and helping others enjoy exercise.
Anyone out there looking for a great exercise shoe - try Earth Trainers - they have negative heel technology which means the heel is lower than the ball of the foot - this improves posture and aleviates many common foot problems. I've been wearing mine since January 2007 and although they feel a bit strange at first - once you're used to them they're great (but obviously not as great as my crocs!)
I love Crocs - I have cayman in Sea Blue, Sea Foam, Turquoise, Purple, Lavendar, Navy, sienna; Blue Flame croclings; Endeavour in navy; Black, sea foam, peacock and ruby red primas; army green/orange and black off-roaders; blue flower m-js; Sea Blue Georgies; scutes in turquoise/fushia; yellow/sea blue disney caymans; athens in Sea blue/lime, Black/Charcoal and Cotton Candy/lavendar;Grape kids alice; Black Troika; Celeste (Choc/sienna); and mammoths in chocolate, Black & Army Green - I'm not allowed any more :(
Mum has 3 pairs (adult alice in peacock for Xmas) and Ben has a pair too! And I have a crocs tote bag and sling bag as well as some socks and loads of jibbitz!!!!

Hi Sian!!!!!!

Woe is us, . . .  the supply of Welsh cakes that we brought back with us ran out yesterday!!! Lauren is most upset!!!!! We could probably buy some in Sainsburys but it just wouldn't be the same now would it???

I hope you get your problem with that complaining member sorted out! Surely they wouldn't want to get rid of you just because of one person??

The Adaras are really nice, I haven't worn them for more than an hour though so I'm hoping there'll be no problems when I spend all day in them!!! My none croc wearing friend Lisa actually thinks they're quite nice!!!!!!!!!

How's the weather over there? Have you got this lovely sunshine?? We've had it for days and days now -it'll probably pour at the weekend ready for my birthday BBQ!!!!!!!!!

Well, the children are still watching Indiana Jones so I MUST go and get them to brush their teeth and go to bed!!!!!

Take care xxjxx

hi Sian,

sorry I've not been in contact, I've not been online as much lately. I hope all is well with you and that you had a good weekend in Burnham. No worries about not making it for coffee this time, there's always another time, and there is nothing worse than feeling rushed and short of time.

Hope you are having a good week,

Bye for now

Liz

Hi Sian!!!

How are you this week??? How are those new trainers doing?? Are they still in the boot or have they made it indoors????

Thanks for the directions in Cardiff, felt a bit stupid when we found that the Torchwood tower was literally a couple of hundred metres from The Red Dragon Centre!!!! I imagined we'd be wandering round aimlessly to find it! It was a lovely sunny afternoon when we went so we had a nice walk round the bay.

I am plowing through the washing today but only have enough eco tabs for two more washes so I'll be jumping on my bike up to Safeways in a bit! -Safeways????? I mean Morrissons of course -can't get my head round the change, it was Safeway for 30years of my life and always will be! (-still can't bring myself to say the words starbursts or snickers!!!!!)

Guess what?  . . . .  . . We brought two loaves of Bara Brith back with us!!!!! Not as nice as the one from Crickhowell though, not enough fruit!

Hope you have a good lunchtime run if that's what you're doing

xxjxx

Hi Sian

yes working with people is different you never know what the day will bring and it has not all been in the same place! Adults, Day Service, Respite with children and back to Adults the only thing that has stayed the same is their conditions, before that 5 years was the longest and that was with Homeless women.

Sorry about the extra cost for blankie I just realised that I have ordered a lot of stuff from America and never thought to ask for it to be marked as a gift dumb of me!!!!!!!!! to late now she was posting Monday!

I am really looking forward to Wales even though it means being on duty 24/7 where did Jacq stay?

better go do some workx

Re the holiday

We are going on 11th sept until 26th sept. We are catching ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe and then driving to Carols and staying near her for 3 nights, we then leave to go to the costa brava where we will stay at a eurocamp for 3 nights so Brittany can enjoy some time in the pool and sea, then we are going to Ray's brothers who lives just outside Benidorm for about 6 nights and then spenind a couple of nights coming back home. Quite tiring i should imagine but there's no way we can take all the stuff we need for brittany by plane it's just ridiculous, will just about fit in my car!

Ooops, Ray's off must go and do some motherly duties!!!

xx

Morning Sian

Need to be quick as Ray is about to leave for work.

Did you managed to get all your fitness purchases indoors without Ben clocking them??? What are you like?

Sounds like you had a great time with Jacq and co, can't wait to meet up in May.

I hope you get something sorted with the blanket, that's really bad if they offered to gidt it!

Off on the long walk to Ray's mums later, in my trainers (naughty me) can't power walk in crocs!! Gonna walk back as well and it's quite a trek, supposed to be walking with Linda and co tonight as well! Bet i still don't drop nay pounds???

Enjoy the meeting

xxxx

Hi Sian

don't mention CC bill although I am getting the 700 pounds back for the car it was not refunded on last months bill so I am standing out of it at the moment

Sounds like you had a great time with Jacq and family, think I have tried the fruit bread but my memories are of Welsh cakes as both my Uncle and Mum used to make them Mum is not Welsh it was my Dad but my Uncle taught her how to make them

I am back in work now till next week but tomorrow evening I am going to get my long service award 20 years!

happy daysx
