hello
just wanted to pass on a few words about my Crocs- which saved my life this summer. IN April I had to have total reconstruction of my right foot, and I now have 6 titanium pins in it- nice! the op was long and complicated and they broke 4 metatarsals and my big toe in several places- yuk. After a few weeks I could try to walk again but none of my own shoes fitted me in any way as the foot was so swollen. I then discovered Crocs whilst surfing online, and as they were made to be good for feet and comfy I ordered a pair in chocolate- not knowing what they would be like, but I was desparate for something to wear adn I had to get back to work.
I ordered my crocs from Lookatmycrazyshoes.com and when they arrived I was amazed! these shoes were crazy looking but so comfortable and i was able to wear them with ease- and they matched a lot of my work clothes! I had a lot of comments when I first went back to work but gradually Crocs started appearing around the office, as people realised whoe comfy and cool they are. I bought a second pair in the sandal version in bright pink too. I have to walk about a lot and commute so the Crocs saved the day! I also bought some for my other half in bright red- he too was smitten at once! I have worn them to work, music festivals, on the beachm on holiday, whilst flying and generally walking about at home, rain or shine.
My surgeon and my GP were fascinated by them and i gave them the details so they could recommend them to other patients with foot problems, surgery related or otherwise.
I can't wait to get more Crocs for next year as the different styles come out.
As I work for a newspaper I wrote an article about my Crocs and who wears em, this was published with a plug for a local selling Crocs in Brighton UK.
I will be getting some for my Mum for Xmas as she has feet problems too and cannot wear hardly any cool shoes- these will be a revelation to her!! |
