Finally I have my sea blue bayas!
DATE: 02/09/2008 08:45:01 / MOOD: happy
After waiting to see if anyone would stock kids baya in the UK, I finally found a pair on e-bay cheaper than uk stockists (or non-stockists I should say - they advertise them and then don't have any in!) About a week later they arrived from the US and are fabulous - I love sea blue - my first pair of crocs were sea blue caymans but the tread has gone - I can't bear to part with them though!
Only a month till I go away and finally get some sun - and get to wear my athens - hardly worn them this year
Hope everyone is ok - it's so quiet on here Are we all finally leaving the site? I just can't get interested in facebook - it's ages since I'e been on there!

Happy and Sad ......
DATE: 21/07/2008 09:53:27 / MOOD: other
Decided a blog was easier than writing individually!
As many of you know I have been very close to my cousin Louise since living in Cardiff (4 years), seeing her at least once a week - well, she has now moved to start a fresh life for her and the kids near retford - 3 hours away on a good day so I currently feel like part of my life is missing.
I am trying to be positive - she's doing the right thing and I can go and visit - in fact I am in a couple of weeks - although I know I won't be able to keep going up due to the cost and also having to visit other people too! The positive is there's less distractions in Cardiff so Ben and I can finally spend some more time together (hopefully).
I did my pilates theory exam on Friday and had my Viva (aural exam) on my coursework - should find out in a few weeks about the coursework, but not sure about the exam as it goes off to be marked externally. Now I only have my video to do next Sunday evening. So long as it's ok it will get sent off and all I'll have to do is wait for the results to come in - no more courses for me for a while - I have very little leave from work not allocated due to my 2 weeks in Cyprus in Oct and then 10 days in Cornwall for Xmas. So I am much happier to know the end is in sight - it was harder/more work than I'd realised - but also very good, enjoyable and I've got to know one of my class very well and have really seen a difference in her posture in the few weeks I've taught her!
So it's been an emotional time of late - Gareth is settling into Cornwall life ok, although I'm not sure about work - he's definitely enjoying his leisure time!!!!
Mum and Dad are back this week - no crocs for me, but hopefully some origins smellies as they are much cheaper over there! I'll have to keep an eye out for those Sea Blue Baya (kids) and now I have to wait for the kids to get the new mint and electric blue too - adults are on Sweetfeetshoes with 15% off!
Chimney is finally being taken down this week! so we can then dry the loft out and put boards down to store more stuff up there!
Really don't have much other news......

Sorry I've not been round - life is so busy!
DATE: 06/06/2008 20:38:07 / MOOD: other
Hi Guys - we're back from West Wales, but a day early - boy has it been a hectic few weeks - my brother has left his job and is trying to relocate to Cornwall - he may have a job down there - they are hoping to agree terms on Monday - fingers crossed - that wioll be the end of 6 or so weeks of stress - he just needs to rent his house out while he sees how he gets on. My uncle is back in hospital and my cousin's other half has walked out on her and the kids
But apart from that all is well - wedding anniversary was lovely - and I went to Jellyegg yesterday - tried on Malindi and adara, but both only went down to a 4 - haven't bought any...yet! remember mum and dad are going to USA soon!
Off to visit relatives tomorrow with my cousin and the kids.
Work is fab too! Promise I'll be on again soon!
love to all x x

Hello Everyone!
DATE: 30/04/2008 07:55:50 / MOOD: other
Guys,
Sorry I've not been on for a while - things are just so busy at work and home - and we've also been busy at weekends - last weekend we were in cornwall working on the website for the cottage our friends own - check out our work at www.altarnun-in-golant.co.uk It's finally almost done - and they have a few bookings for this year! I'm looking forward to not going away for a few weekends - although no doubt I'll still be quite busy - but I'm resisting the urge to do my accounts as i'm fed up of looking at computer screens! It's my last Thursday class this week - and so from next week I'm only teaching Tuesdays and Wednesdays (3 classes each night!) so am hoping I'll feel better for the break! I have lots to do at the moment at work so I just haven't been able to get on here - was busy training a couple of afternoons last week, and also have had the odd day off too - that never helps!
Hope everyone is ok - just to let you know I am fine and I hope to return to normality next week!
Hope everyone has a great bank holiday weekend if I don't catch up with you.
love to all

Hello from my new job!
DATE: 25/02/2008 13:56:12 / MOOD: full of life
Hello everyone - just a quick blog to let you all know the new job is going well so far - ok so I've only been here 1 morning, but as Mammie says - it feels right! and yes, those of you who I saw in Scotland, I have my calming stones in my pocket and my new ring on! I slept with my stones under my pillow too!
Everyone seems really friendly - they keep coming up and introducing themself to me - it seems as it's a new post everyone is quite looking forward to me getting involved and making things happen!
I still have a bit of a cold, but am teaching tonight. Had a bit of a surprise today when I went into one office to find someone who has been coming to my classes for 18 months sitting there! So I sort of know one person here already!
Better go but before I do - I had a great time in Glasgow, even if I wasn't well so missed out on some of the drinking! Looking forward to the next meet up already!

Glasgow - any plans?
DATE: 28/01/2008 10:26:23 / MOOD: happy
Guys - as you may have guessed from everything you hear about me on the site, I love to plan and be organised!!! Therefore as our trip to Glasgow is getting closer, I am starting to read up on what's on offer to do and see while we're there.
I'm a massive fan of Charles Rennie Mackintosh so would like to see some of his architechure etc, visit the Willow Tea rooms and browse the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum from what I've read so far! I know shopping is up there on the list for lots of you, but due to a leaky roof, buying 3 new pairs of trainers in the January sales and the new car in December, my spending needs to be kept to a minimum. (and with changing jobs I get paid on 21st feb for a part month and then don't get paid my my new job until end of March - yikes! )
I'm guessing we may go off and do different things and meet up to eat if we all want to see/do different things, but if there's anything people really don't want to do, Ben and I are arriving Thursday lunchtime so we could do some of our culture before everyone else gets here!
I should have some time to do some research on places to go as work is likely to be steady in feb when my manager is away, but if anyone has any ideas they want to share, let's start the discussion!!!!
If all you want to do is shop, please don't be offended if we don't join you some of the time!

News! (but not what you think!)
DATE: 28/11/2007 10:34:04 / MOOD: happy
Well guys, you may have noticed I'm not around much again as work is taking over again so it's easier to write a blog than write individual messages on everyone's pages!
Well there's no news on the job front.......
But my Celeste's have finally arrived - they got stopped at customs so I had to pay - so probably my most expensive pair of crocs to date!!!! They're lovely - i promise I will take some pics and post at the weekend along with my Troika. I went for a 4 in Celeste and Troika and am glad I did - they aren't as narrow as the adult alice, but I think I would have had a problem squeezing into a 3! After wearing my Troika all day last Saturday the top of my foot was slightly red but hopefully after a few days out that will go!
But that's not the real news....I'm getting a new car (ok a nearly new car!)! A couple of weeks ago I spoke to my parents and said i was thinking about doing it in the next few months...we got some advice on good small cars to look at from a friend of the family who's a mechanic....been looking on the internet...went to see some last weekend....and have put a deposit down on a car I've yet to see! Going on Sunday to see it and finalise things! How exciting!
I was going to wait until I got a new job, but this car is just what I want and a good price, and they'll part exchange my fiesta, so i'm going for it! Does mean I may be buying less crocs for the foreseeable future - so don't make me jealous with all your new pairs!
Let's hope I get some good news about a job soon!
Hope everyone is ok.
Speak soon.
