My Prize Winning Crocs are Great
DATE: 21/11/2007 10:15:02 / MOOD: in love

Just a quick note - just in case anyone was following the saga of the Crocs competition and the seemingly endless wait for our prizes to arrive!

I can now confirm that both Jacq and I have our prize winning crocs in our possession! (and have them for a while - just not had time to write this!)

And I must say there is something special about having a pair of crocs you won - I've had some great bargains on ebay, but there's nothing quite like getting a prize!!!!

Sorry to rub in the fact we have some FREE crocs - maybe more people will enter if there is another competition? (hey admin - how about running something else soon - maybe a photo competition - something to keep us occupied - but give us a little time to enter as some of the regulars are away!)

I will be posting a pic of my new black mammoths as soon as I can, but with being ill, busy at work and the interview/job apps time just seems to fly by.

Thanks to Admin for running the competition and ensuring we eventually got our prizes.

And yes my feet are toasty in my black mammoths today - had to wear my peacock primas yesterday though for the interview

Another reason to run a comp is I had to promise not to buy any more crocs till after Xmas - how will I manage?!!!!

Hello
DATE: 09/11/2007 09:31:41 / MOOD: in love

Hi Guys, just a quick message to let you all know I am fine, but work is ridiculously busy and I've been busy with classes after work too so no time to do anything

As I also must get a new job as soon as poss now my pay is being cut this month I am a tad stressed about that too

Hence I have taken annual leave today from work to fill out application forms for some jobs.

Can't talk at mo at one has to be done by 4pm

But off to France tomorrow!  Although have to spend Ben's money as I have none

ps I had a lovely birthday - lovely lunch with louise and Elis - although Elis doesn't want to sit still any more so tired me out running around the place! and then lovely meal with Ben - although it took 2 hours for 3 courses - service was appauling!

No sign of my troika or celeste yet - maybe sometime next week?

And the mammoths.....may be next year for the ones from LAMCS, but the others should be here soon too!

Sorry I'm not around at mo - I want to be on here, but things are against me at mo!

Speak soon.

lol xSx

Celeste Sizing???
DATE: 05/11/2007 09:57:14 / MOOD: in love

Does anyone know anything about celeste sizing? I've read a few reviews which seem to say they may be coming up a bit small, and others which don't.... I've decided I have to have a pair but just don't know which size to get....any help would be greatly received!!!! As they only do adults there's no diff in price between 3s and 4s so the decision is harder!!!!!

Please help me!!! xxx

or am I beyond help?!!!! xxx

More Crocs!
DATE: 24/10/2007 09:45:19 / MOOD: full of life

OK - so remember I said my friend would be bringing my goodies in today.......well she told me she had forgotten so I tried to act as if it didn't matter as she had done me a big favour bringing them back....but it only turns out her boss decided it would be funny to play a trick on me as he knew I was looking forward to getting them! and he hid them in his office (yes this is a senior manager in the NHS!!!) so I now have a beautiful pair of peacock primas - which incidently match today's jumper perfectly - and some fab ruby red primas, plus a crocs tote bag and sling bag! I am so excited! but I can't bear to take my cosy mammoths off so my new crocs are patiently waiting for their turn to shine..... I will take photos at the weekend and post them, but you all know what they're like anyway!

I'm still having the indecisiveness on the kids/adult alices in grape - want some, but don't know which to get - as both are available in uk3 on some sites!

work is quieting down a little, but next week I'll have the dreaded minutes again and I also need to do some job applications! Have DVD of photos here today.....so guess I'll be very busy!

Sorry for all the blogs, but with so little time at the moment, I can't write too many individual messages

But be assured I'm thinking of you all.

xx

apologies for the lack of crocing!
DATE: 23/10/2007 20:25:25 / MOOD: happy

The jet lag is a nightmare and I'm working all day and teaching my classes in the evening so hence the lack of me on here - I promise it will change by the weekend!

I've almost got through the e-mail at work, and put into motion most of the jobs I need to get moving so things should start to get back to normal - I let a few things for my boss to finish in my absence, but they didn't get done so I[ve had to sort them out as 3 weeks later they're urgent!

I still have the issue of no job after March to deal with and the possibility of losing money due to the NHS pay structure changes so getting a new job has to stay high on the agenda - there's a few jobs at cardiff uni I may apply for - Ben's just got a job there and get 37 day annual leave plus bank hols!!! sounds a good place to work!!! My boss reckons my job is safe and they may even try to make it more interesting and higher paid - but I'ver had enough promises broken at BT as a graduate with no life experince to know you can't rely on promises however much one person would like them to be true - organisations don't care about specific people - someone else will do the job if you don't!

But more importantly - I'm back up to date with america's next top model - 3 episodes last night and one tonight so no more till next monday!

Wondering where my black mammoths are from LAMCS - not impressed Jaqc doesn't have hers yet - not looking promising  but loving my choc ones - like Kay I bought mine not really knowing if I liked them - but especially after a warm hols they have been fab the last 2 days - only took them off to teach!! so tempted to get more!

Good news is tomorrow my friend is in work (she only works 2 days a week) so hopefully I will have my new primas and crocs bags and jibbitz!  Exciting!

Well have 1400 photos to sort out so we can get some printed at the weekend to show people and new classes starting thursday so lots to do - I promise in the next couple of days I'll be back in earnest! I amy even manage some crocing tomorrow - have to spend the afternoon with my boss catching up so more likely to be the morning if at all - photos at the weekend I reckon!

what else is there to say - Ben goes back to work tomorrow as he's been ill since coming home - how nice it would be to have a couple of days off, but you have to get back into it sometime!

So am I right Carol's flight to Glasgow was altered too? we were supposed to be leaving 7.15pm and now 11:50am so another day off work - ok, but only got 3.5 days excluding this day and need a day in dec for a long weekend in Cornwall early dec - but guess it's ok - maybe should get another job so more leave!!!

Love to all.

Mammoths!
DATE: 22/10/2007 15:33:14 / MOOD: full of life

So 3 weeks worth of post was delivered this morning - was allowed to wait for the delivery and go into work late! And my eBay mammoths arrived so I am wearing them today and love them!! Can't wait for the 2nd pair from LAMCS to come! and I get my USA bits on Wednesday - that's been a long time coming! Anyone seen the kids alice yet to see how they differ from the adult ones - want grape but not sure whether to go adult or kids (the benefit of size 3 feet!) Maybe I can buy them if I get any birthday money!

Promise I will get back on here in ernest in the next few days, but have to sort things out at work, aerobics and home so busy, busy!

love to all

We're back!
DATE: 21/10/2007 21:05:52 / MOOD: happy

Hello everyone - we've just got back so I haven't had a chance to read everyone's comments but thought I'd write a quick blog so you all know I'm ok and had a great time! Peru was amazing - I'll bore you all in the next few days, but our clean, fresh, double bed, completely bug free and without a mosquito net over it is calling after travelling for about 24 hours from Cusco to lima, lima to amsterdam and amsterdam to cardiff. And yes we saw paddington bear in a shop in Lima!

Was disappointed with the lack of crocs in amsterdam airport only a few cayman's the odd m-js and a few athens

but I should have several pairs of crocs to look forward to in the next few days - some mamoths, and primas in ruby and peacock from my friend - and my crocs bags!

Should be able to post some good pics during the week - crocs at machu picchu for a start!  even met someone born in Boulder there!!!

please fill me in on what's been going on - anything I need to catch up on?

how many more pairs of crocs have you all bought since I was away? and what does everyone think of their new crocs?

Love to all

Sian xxxx

Peru calls
DATE: 28/09/2007 20:14:21 / MOOD: happy

Good evening everyone.

Thank you to all for your good wishes for our epic journey to deepest, darkest Peru! Well our taxi comes at 2:30am so this is my last time on here for a while!

Wore my audrey's all day - finally took the elastic off this morning - was worried they may be too loose - but no prob for my wide feet! And really comfy!

Back to the trip - we will try and get on the internet a few times, so no doubt this will be a high priority for me to pop by and say hello!

Other than that I'll write a blog when I get back and bore you all with photos!

Don't know how I'll sleep tonight, but will try..even though it will only be 4 hours! Kay I don't know how you survive all the time on so little sleep.

I will be thinking of you all - please think of us especially 8-12 Oct which is the toughest part of the trip, the actual inca trail!

Make sure you all talk lots on the site - we don't want it going quiet again - and Kay and Jacq - enjoy your trips with David et al! Carol and Diane enjoy your visit to Kay's - you'll have a great time! Jaynie hope everything with the move runs smoothly! and everyone don't work too hard!

Love to all! Make sure you don't buy too many crocs/jibbitz while I'm away!

Will miss you all. (and my crocs as only taking 3 pairs - Ben hasn't commented on the pair strapped to the outside of my carry on bag yet!!!!)

My new crocs...
DATE: 26/09/2007 20:27:28 / MOOD: in love

Ok - my new crocs are limited edition Audrey Hallmark crocs in Black/white - I bought them on eBay - they took 5 days including the weekend to arrive! awesome!

Shame the stuff I bought for hols hasn't come that quick

The bow is tied onto a small elastic loop which goes through two holes in the crocs across a tear drop type hole - I'll take a bow off and take a new photo - but I have to decide whether to cut the elastic off

Think I will as I can always  just tie the bow straight through the holes if need be......

I'll add more later....

I got my usual size - uk 3, us 5!
