Parcels
DATE: 19/07/2007 08:59:13 / MOOD: happy
Thought I'd make you all laugh this morning! As you know I've had that twitching finger syndrome flair up recently and hence have been receiving lots of parcels in the post. However, unfortunately for me I leave for work before Ben and come home after him so he is always seeing the parcels unless the postie is really early.
Yesterday I received 2 of the 3 parcels I was expecting after my weekend's spending/lamcs new delivery and I knew another parcel today may tip Ben over the edge.
I waited and waited as long as I could without being too late for work... no postie.... so drove down the drive...checked where the postie parks his car.... it was there..... drive slowly down the street looking for postie..... spot him.... stop car... wind down window.....ask if he has a parcel for me..... he reaches into his bag as he walks over to me.....and my mission is accomplished...I now have my parcel.
I start to drive, but how can I drive all the way to work with an unopened parcel! Yes the first lot of traffic lights are red.....I reach over to open my parcel..... rip open the plastic envelope (why are they so difficult to get into if you don't have a pair of scissors handy!).....and my heart melts to see my sea blue georgies in all their glory (and looking big enough to fit)!
But the traffic lights have changed so I won't be able to try them on until I get to work...hopefully only 15 mins away if there's no traffic....
No traffic so I arrive on time and before I leave the car, off come the new sea foam caymans (worth the wait - even if Ben said they looked the colour of toothpaste) and I slip into my Georgies...they fit like a glove....hooray! Off they come to be hidden in the boot of my car until I am daring enough to take them into the house!
What a way to start the day!

Searching for light blue/pearl islanders for hubby - I came upon this:
http://www.crocshoes.co.uk/onthehorizon.php
don't think I've seen all these before - but maybe I'm getting forgettful?
Just been speaking to someone who sells crocs who's really fed up of the different sizing depending on where the crocs are manufactured - on her website my crocs size (sole marked 3/5) is advertised as an m1/2 as that is what crocs have suggested. (fitfeetuk.com) So be careful if you order kiddie sizes from them - but she was very nice

My trip to Peru
What should i buy next?
DATE: 20/06/2007 11:24:10 / MOOD: in love
I'm still waiting on my Sea Foam Cayman's, but it's pay day soon so what should I buy with my hard earned money (ok so I'm not working that hard, but hey!!!)?
I have posted a few pics of my choices - pastel kids scutes or athens (my size don't come with the back strap!) or may be the smart athens in black/charcol - with the weather as it is should I be buying flip flops at all? Who out there has Sassaris - what are they like to wear - light, comfy?
Keep wondering about another pair of primas - but really want another colour suitable for smart work as I have black - and don't think any other colour will do what I want - they're not a casual shoe for me! Anyone seen them in navy, charcol or sea blue - now that would be an idea!!!!!
Let me know your thoughts............
What will be your next purchase?

Crocs Socks
DATE: 18/06/2007 10:24:28 / MOOD: happy
Guys,
Not sure if this is the easiest way to let everyone know where i got my socks from, but thought I'd give it a try!
They are from Taylorshoes.com ( a US site which ships to uk). My delivery took about 2 weeks.
I thought they were a bit different and also bought them as only buying a single pair of crocs from the US is not very cost effective. I'm not sure if Bethany can get the Socks from her supplier......
They also had t-shirts - I could have gone mad spending, but was good - next time though.........
I'm so glad to hear everyone likes them - a couple of the pairs came with narrow wristbands too (cotton) - I need to persuade Ben to take a picture of me wearing them as the photo i took was naff!
God mother gave me a cheque yesterday - it's taking all my willpower not to spend on more crocs at the moment....
I'm getting more and more hooked on this site - thankfully work is quite quiet and I had the weekend to myself, but if all goes quiet you know I need to do some work!!!

New Crocs
DATE: 26/03/2007 09:49:05 / MOOD: lonely
Why is it all the new colours come out in the adult crocs not kids crocs? or can someone tell me where I can get the new summer colours in the kids size 3 caymans? I have recently bought a pair of black primas - but they're taking some getting used to - my other half says I look like I'm wearing old people's shoes! I guess it will depend on what I wear them with - my other crocs I can wear with anything and they look great! (ok - to me not my other half!) What do others think of the primas? I've also finally got myself a pair of athens, when I read all the info on the kids one's and realised the back strap was only for small sizes! Oh and I've bought a pair of Off Road Shoes - although I had to buy size 4 and they are a little bit too big - they'll have to do for my travelling in Peru in October! So although I've not been around for a while I am still thinking of you all and am spending what little spare cash I have on my new crocs! I also bought some crocsbutter to smarten up my older pairs!!!!

Off to my favourite part of England on Thursday - down to cornwall to stay in a cottage in Golant - the one pictured in one of my photos - I'm sure I'll visit my fav shop in Fowey, Wildlife, where I first saw crocs and fell in love (with them or my husband, I'll leave that to you!) I've just booked flights to Peru for October - anyone been there? any advice as to what to take (apart from my crocs)? We're doing the Inca trail amongst other things.....

Exercise and Fitness
DATE: 09/01/2007 10:08:45 / MOOD: happy
If anyone out there wants advice on Exercise or general fitness, please feel free to ask me questions and I will do my best to answer them. I'm a qualified Personal Trainer, Aerobics, Aqua and Pilates Instructor and swimming teacher so if you want some basic advice I'll try my best. I do have a day job and teach in the evenings so do bear with me if I do not answer straight away. My starter for today - try to incorporate more activity into your day by using the stairs rather than lifts or escalators. Park further away to where you want to go in car parks. Small actions like this are easy to do but can help you get fitter and burn more calories so help you lose weight or maintain your weight if you've reached your target. I want to share my knowledge with you!
