    about me
I LOVE footwear! A big fan of Beech, Chung Shi, Crocs, Earth, FitFlop, Kickers (old family tradition!), MBT, Orthotebbs, Springboost, Tonewalker and Ugg Australia.

Have too many pairs imaginable that are all stored away in Tubtrugs (another one of my passions! Hey, I just like nice bright colourful things!).

Onto my Crocs, well my 1st ever pair were Beach in lime, I purchased them in Sept '05...well before they became a trend here in the UK. Now they are EVERYWHERE...probably due to the influx of celebs wearing them no doubt. Even after all that time they still look as good as new and are still going strong but that might be due to the fact that I look after my footwear. Wet wipes/baby wipes are what I use for keeping my Crocs clean - the best method I've found, sometimes sling them in the washing machine too occasionally, if they get really dirty.

All my pairs are jibbited up with Jibbitz, which jazzes them up even more! Glad to see Crocs are coming up with all these new models, they are one of the most super comfortable and versatile brands ever to conquer this Earth. Yeee haaaaaa! }:o]~

Hope you like my photos of Jazzmine, our female tortoise (Guatemalian Yellow-Foot) modelling mine. Our other one Humbug who is male, is modelling my mums on her profile (Graggy)...from one Dinosaur descendant to another!

    I sell Crocs & Jibbitz in my eBay store;

    turn on's
Handsome men in Crocs of course!!! Oh and in sharp smart suits and ties. Phwoarrr!

    turn off's
Dirty people who don't wash and clean properly. Ewww! Haha!

Also, can't stand people who smoke - yewwwwwwck, nasty habit. Or those say "mate"...I think it's rather common and sounds really unfeminine when a female uses that lingo.

    hobbies
eBay, motor sport, keep fit, knitting, music, shoes, shopping, reading.

It was Millets I got my half price MBTs from - we were staying at camberley so we drove just over an hour into North London to go to their shop - they are great - and I now can buy over the phone as I have bought from them! Yes I love some of the new styles - I have the Chapa trainers in grey/pink and they're lovely - keep looking on ebay for bargains - but they never happen! I also bought wave casual shoes when I was in London!  Must try out the tonewalkers soon! Do you just walk on the flat part of the sole?  seems to go against walking as I've always done, rolling through the foot....

Do you ever wear your tonewalkers? I have a pair - bought half price last year, but have never worn them - weather was so bad last year - i was going to wear them for a walk in my lunch hour, but I needed to wear socks and they kept slipping so that was the end of that - must try and use them soon - never in the house long enough to wear them so must bring them into work for a walk lunchtime, when I'm not jogging! but I get more use out of my MBT sandals - got the blue ones half price from a shop in London!

I bought Brown - which was a big shock to me, but I thought the brown, tan etc looked better than the blues as the ugg bit is a sandy colour - but these are so nice, I would be tempted by another pair! Mine cost £22.50 inc p&p so much cheaper than Crocs ones I would imagine (rrp is £40 for Gumbies boots)

Am now teaching half and half in earth and MBTs - earth for the poolside and MBTs for aerobics etc and wear my MBTs for jogging, gym etc. Have been tempted by some earth pitta ash from LTS, half price, but just can't justify it - I've been thinking about buying them since they put them on the site to pre-order!

Should say - I love the earth rocket trainers - but they looked a little wider at the toe/front section - not a problem for my wide feet! they do look bigger than energetic in my opinion, but I had the same size. Mum and dad are going to USA for a holiday in July and I'm thinking of all the things I could buy and get them to bring back - Mum's sister lives in Idaho so I can deliver to them and Mum can bring home! Earth are so much cheaper in USA as well as crocs - but I can't go mad! Just keep my fingers crossed LTS do another half prcie sale before the summer, when I'll need another new pair of trainers for work! Let me know what you think of the rockets!

    xx

I bought 2 pairs of ice blue rockets in january - nearly bought another pair over the weekend, but we were at Mum and dad's and they don't have internet, so we could only get on infrequently if there was an unsecure wirelss connection available! So I was good and didn't get another pair - I'll have to wait for the next half price sale - hopefully they will do one before the Aug bank hol as they often do a sale then too! Was thinking about the pink energetic as they are so cheap - I've had a couple of pairs of energetic, but am using rocket now! As I bought a new car before Xmas, I'm not supposed to be buying anything - I get away with trainers as they are for teaching, and I bought a new Heart Rate monitor too, so everything else (oh apart from the power diet trainers and sandals) have gone on hold!

Do love fitflops - just wish they fitted me!

Hope to see you on here more again!

    xx

Still not got any of the new crocs - am waiting till I get paid next week, then may treat myself to some Malindi. Been wearing my celeste quite a lot recently, but I had to go up to a 4 in them!

What else you been buying recently?

Bought some power diet trainers from Harrods in their sale - cheaper than lovethoseshoes! and also got some power diet sandals from fitfeet in jersey - again cheaper than lovethoseshoes - so all shoed out! what do you think of the new spring range of earth shoes - there are some really nice casual shoes on the US sites, but I'm not sure if they ship to UK, as they're not on LTS. Don't know if I'll get any as come spring I'll be living in my crocs again!

Hope you are well and buying lots of new shoes!!!

Happy New year! You been buying much recently? I got some Asgi Trainers in White for Xmas - they're comfy  and the leather is really soft - they're not really for aerobics though so are just a casual pair as a change from Crocs, MBT and earth. Lovethoseshoes have quite a sale at the mo, but I'm banned from buying - would have liked a pair of power diet trainers, but the pair they put in their advent sale was the one style which didn't go small enough for me

Hope you had a good Xmas and best wishes for 2008!

    xx
