hobbies
Keeping fit and helping others enjoy exercise.

Anyone out there looking for a great exercise shoe - try Earth Trainers - they have negative heel technology which means the heel is lower than the ball of the foot - this improves posture and aleviates many common foot problems. I've been wearing mine since January 2007 and although they feel a bit strange at first - once you're used to them they're great (but obviously not as great as my crocs!) I also now train in my MBTs - another challenge - balancing while you squat!

I love Crocs - I have cayman in Sea Blue, Sea Foam, Turquoise, Purple, Lavendar, Navy, sienna, grape; Blue Flame croclings; Endeavour in navy; Black, sea foam, peacock and ruby red primas; army green/orange and black off-roaders; blue flower m-js; Sea Blue Georgies; scutes in turquoise/fushia; yellow/sea blue disney caymans; athens in Sea blue/lime, Black/Charcoal and Cotton Candy/lavendar;Grape kids alice; Black Troika; Celeste (Choc/sienna); turquoise malindi; and mammoths in chocolate, Black & Army Green - and my latest edition baya in sea blue - fabulous!

Mum has 3 pairs (alice in peacock, navy caymans and lavender/cotton candy scutes) and Ben has a pair too! (Hannah is on her second pair of Cotton Candy! Next year I hope to get Elis a pair too!)

Ooohhhhhh BROWN!  Hehe. I suppose brown goes with things a lot more though, so it's more practical I guess. Yeah, ordered my brother-in-law the Rocket trainers being as the sale is still on - he saw my sisters ones and thought he might quite like a pair for himself! I've kerbed spending on there - as I do get a bit carried away once I start buying shoes etc. the start of an addiction!!!

Glad to hear you're getting use out of your Earth trainers and MBT's. I wear my MBT's every now and again out and around. And Mum wears her FitFlops as slippers round the house and apparently they have sculpted her legs slightly thinner - I wouldn't know if they work on me, as I only wear mine outside in the summer and with so many sandals to choose from I often don't wear any one pair all of the time!

And yes, can imagine the Nadia boot is more expensive than the Gumbies!

Hi Sian,

Great to hear from you! Especially glad to hear that you're still alive!!!

Things have been very quiet on here and coming on in the daytime is like entering a wilderness these day!!!!!

Life here goes on as usual, completely hectic and mad!! I'll be so pleased on Friday night with the start of the summer hols!!!! -Yippee, six weeks with no routine!!

We're of to Norfolk in our caravan for ten days and then have five more at my parents. Back home for a few weeks and then I'm thinking about taking the childers away for a week on my own.

Should be about in Sept so maybe we'll be able to meet for drink or something again!!!

well, children are off to bed any time now so I'd better go and be motherly!!

Take care xxjxx

Re the holiday

We are going on 11th sept until 26th sept. We are catching ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe and then driving to Carols and staying near her for 3 nights, we then leave to go to the costa brava where we will stay at a eurocamp for 3 nights so Brittany can enjoy some time in the pool and sea, then we are going to Ray's brothers who lives just outside Benidorm for about 6 nights and then spenind a couple of nights coming back home. Quite tiring i should imagine but there's no way we can take all the stuff we need for brittany by plane it's just ridiculous, will just about fit in my car!

Ooops, Ray's off must go and do some motherly duties!!!

xx

Sounds like you had a great time with Jacq and family, think I have tried the fruit bread but my memories are of Welsh cakes as both my Uncle and Mum used to make them Mum is not Welsh it was my Dad but my Uncle taught her how to make them

I am back in work now till next week but tomorrow evening I am going to get my long service award 20 years!

Hi Sian

yes I've just come back from seeing my daughter, so I asked her! Apparently there are two places on Burnham High Street, one is called Woodstock and is at the end of the High Street, the other is near Budgens. Apparently Woodstock does the best coffee but both are nice. I'll send you my mobile number too by private message. Dental appointment is ten past 11. Talk later!
