hobbies
Keeping fit and helping others enjoy exercise.

Anyone out there looking for a great exercise shoe - try Earth Trainers - they have negative heel technology which means the heel is lower than the ball of the foot - this improves posture and aleviates many common foot problems. I've been wearing mine since January 2007 and although they feel a bit strange at first - once you're used to them they're great (but obviously not as great as my crocs!) I also now train in my MBTs - another challenge - balancing while you squat!

I love Crocs - I have cayman in Sea Blue, Sea Foam, Turquoise, Purple, Lavendar, Navy, sienna, grape; Blue Flame croclings; Endeavour in navy; Black, sea foam, peacock and ruby red primas; army green/orange and black off-roaders; blue flower m-js; Sea Blue Georgies; scutes in turquoise/fushia; yellow/sea blue disney caymans; athens in Sea blue/lime, Black/Charcoal and Cotton Candy/lavendar;Grape kids alice; Black Troika; Celeste (Choc/sienna); turquoise malindi; and mammoths in chocolate, Black & Army Green - and my latest edition baya in sea blue - fabulous!

Mum has 3 pairs (alice in peacock, navy caymans and lavender/cotton candy scutes) and Ben has a pair too! (Hannah is on her second pair of Cotton Candy! Next year I hope to get Elis a pair too!)

Hiya

You would probably be better trying the malindi for size as a 4 would prob be too big??

Did i tell you that Brittany will be getting a touch screen computer soon thru the charity "dreams come true"? They rang yesterday to tell me and they now have to go into school to see what they use and which software packages she uses. School also informed me last week that she is almost a curriculum level for reading!!! Did i tell you this already? I'm so forgetful these days!

We are hoping to maybe go somewhere we can drive to like France, Ray's not keen on the idea of holidays in this country cos of our inpredicatable weather, we will need to get a top box for the car if thats the case as she has so much stuff, her feed alone fills a suitcase!!!

Hi Sian.

Facebook is easy, you can either accept or refuse an application but mostly you add it to see what the application is and if you decide you don't want it then go to yr page and in the top right corner of the post you can remove it or go to edit page and take them off from there, but mainly it's just fun at the moment I wood say just accept till you get used to it, You no what's funny........ You and Ben setting up a website for a cottage and you having trouble with facebook!!!!!!!!lol you crack me up sometimes.

Glad everything good at work, If you want anybody to test your samples I can give you my address!!!!!lol  Hope all goes well for yr meeting on Monday

That's scandalous, a whole year for back pay!!! Bet if you owed them money they wouldn't wait that long?

The malindi are pretty cool actually, i do prefer my alice but until i get another rivet i can't wear them! I paid £19.98 and Taylors sell them for about £15 if i remember but then you have to pay $20+ postage.

Heidi came round this morning and i had a full hour cuddle with baby Lola. She arrived clamped to Heidi's breast and then was passed to me, she is too cute for words and pulled some hilarious faces, probably thru wind!

How's work going? Are you still enjoying it?

My parents are coming over shortly for their weekly 1 hour visit so i had better go and clean up around the house shortly.

Have a great evening

ps be sure and take a good factor suncream, it is only March and I was using factor 30, with my Irish ancestry I have the kind of celtic skin that burns very easily, so be careful!

HI Sian,

I'm back at work now, it's not been too bad. Did some computer training this morning for the social services systems, 'Paris', which stands for 'persistently awful rubbishy idiotic stuff' (not really but it should), the systems do not seem designed with users in mind but nothing new there!!! Give me a few more weeks and I'll probably have revised my acronym!

That was my first visit to Cyprus, we went to Troodos mountains, Lara Bay, and of course Paphos Harbour and the mini-castle, the mosaics, the tombs of the kings etc which were all nearby, and also the Avakas gorge and peninsula which are pretty spectacular. We went on organised trips, mainly cos I'm terrified of heights and spent a good part of the journeys with my eyes shut - there are lots of roads which are only accessible to landrovers driven by people with nerves of steel. They call them roads but I call them narrow ledges carved into the sides of mountains! But my husband says I exaggerate!!! He doesn't drive, and I wouldn't drive cos there's nothing worse than 'freezing' halfway up/down a mountain! Lara bay is where the turtle hatchery is, I think turtle season starts in October, so that should be a good time to be there. The towns are modern and very English, there is a Next, a Marks and Spencer and a Debenhams!! You have to go out of town to the villages if you want to see Cypriot life in the old style - but be quick, it's developing fast, and in a few years it will have dissappeared for good in the wake of globalisation (yuk!) Locals say the summer is extremely hot, so Summer and Autumn are the best times to visit.

Anyway that's enough rambling for now! Hope you are keeping well etc,

Bye for now

Liz x

Hello, sorry for delay in replying to you - not been doing much lately.  Knitting items that I am planning to put to the local show in August - have got a bag made that is a shopping bag for going to the farmers market (has knitted vegetables on it), also a leprechaun for St Patrick's Day, the witch I did last year - so will have a collection by August.  Also hope to have some good photos as I am looking at getting a new camera.  I have a kodak Easyshare V1003 (10 megapixel) but i want a Sony A350 14.2 megapixel digital SLR instead.

Hello!

Glad you're settling in! And I'm also glad that you're cutting back on all those classes, three classes after a day at work, you must be shattered! -it'll be nice for you to have a bit more relaxation time!

I keep thinking that our holiday in Wales is really close because Easter's only two and a half weeks away, but then I remember that we're not going for another three weeks after that!! But I'm sure it'll come round quickly. I'll have to have your number nearer the time. How far away are you from Llantilio Pertholey? It's just outside Abervagenny.

I guess you would have to ask them to mark as gift cos if you get charged customs you don't really save much! I didn't get charged when i ordered but i only ordered one pair!!

Was gonna tell you about Norstrom but i see shelts already has!! They charge $28 for delivery but for s many pairs as you want, so order more than one otherwise it's not worth it!!! Check that they will mark as a gift too as you may get charged otherwise!!! They are very helpful tho!

they will ship to the UK but you have to phone them your order.  I got my fire swirl caymans from Nordstrom in February no problems at all.
