So far this year my fave book's been The Book Thief -made me cry a lot though! I'll read almost anything! Not keen on crime fiction though and I HATE badly written books, Oh and I do read my bible most days!!!

movies
Oh there are too many to mention. Funny, romantic, science fiction/fantasy -basically I'll watch most things! Not horror though!!

about me
Married I guess you'd use the phrase 'stay at home mum' of two lovely children, 13yr old girl and 10yr old boy. I do a few hours work at the local school and a day and a bit child minding each week and also help run a youth group which all keeps me busy. Like to chill out as much as possible though and love to curl up with a good book.

turn on's
Captains with Jack in the title -Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Jack Harkness! Though back in the world of reality a good sense of humour and a nice smile will do!

turn off's
Miserable or rude people! ARGUING!

hobbies
Reading, swimming, playing tennis when I get round to it (rarely!), just hanging out with friends, walking our mad spaniel. Love to go away in our little caravan, nothing like sitting in a tin box with the rain hammering down on it!!

Hi Jacq

hope you have now done all your homework yes rainy days are for that sort of thing

I had a busy day yesterday and got everything done including going into town which meant I spent more than I should I can't resist the freebies in Boots then the books were 3 for the price of 2 in Watersones and yes I did get Lollipop shoes when I got back I started one of the books oops fatal a sweet little book called Garden Spells but it was so hot and the garden was calling me then we went and visited my friend Margaret for a cup of tea. Filled the car, put credit on my phone, packed had a lovely big bubble bath then read some more, but could I get off to sleep boy was it hot!

Doing a Kay today and up before 6, the last of the washing is ironed so less to do when we get back! so organised I have time to write this! what have I forgot

Just going to dead head the roses then get showered and dressed we will be at the cottage for afternoon tea, bliss!

take care and enjoy the sunshinex

Morning

What a lovely sunny day it is. I have a bit of a headache so i'm planning on staying out of it for a while.

Waiting for Bt to come this morning and sort out my phone, all our calls have been diverted to my mobile for now! Do you know how MUCH it costs now if the fault is inside the house??? £113 call out and £99 per hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Disgusting, just ludicrous!!! There is no way i would pay that so he is not crossing my threshold, will get a telephoen engineer in instead!! May do some gardening later if i can find a hat, need to go into my neighbours and do some chopping of my bushes on his side which he's fine with plus i get a coffee!!

Well.................? Shall i or shant i? This is the question! I always say never again and then end up watching BB, will defo watch tonight and see how it goes. Like you i watched last years the least because of big mouth Charlie!

Hope you are more suitably dressed this morning? How many clothes did you wear yesterday??? It's not WINTER!!!!! It's lovely here at the moment and barely a cloud to be seen.

Enjoy the day

xxxxx

Hi Jacq

well it's no surprise that you had a great time in ep just looked at the pics and am mighty jealous The children certainly seemed to enjoy themselves the big kids too

We had a horrible wet day yesterday but we had Henri who is sunshine its self and spent the day with with our best friends so a good time was had by all

We are off to France next Tuesday not many crocs going I am afraid only 2 pairs for Ken and 3 for me, we are very limited with a 15kg weight each for the plane, 10kg for hand luggage would you believe and already have one bag to it's limit with stuff for the family I am taking my Joules pink flowered wellies they are quite cute and since I have my georgies here and no wellies in France I thought they would be more useful there especially since the are brand new! but they have filled my hand luggage up.

Hoping for at least a little sunshine but France is having no better weather than us

have a great dayx

MORNING!!!

How are you on this wet and miserable day?

Glad you got home safely and in record time, that was a quick journey.

ANTS!!!!! YUUUUKKKKKKK!!! We had a whole load of those under our fridge freezer recently, just horrible, took ages to get rid of them. Not sure i would have been pleased to do it after a busy few days and long drive home tho!

My phone is still not working.......argh!!! Rushed into Worthing this morning to change it, cam home plugged it in and nothing!!! Went next door to try it in his phone socket and it worked so the fault is obviously with our line. I thanked him and ran back home only to find i was locked out!!! In my haste i had forgotten my keys! Ray was 2 hours away so thankfully mum was nearby and dropped off a spare set......phew!!!! Just spent half an hour on the phone to Bt and gave up, just tried the on line approach so am waiting for an answer!

My family came down yesterday so it was still hectic in the Lewis household, they got the train from Croydon and because of various problems they had to change 3 times and eventually i had to jump in the car and pick them up!

Horse riding this afternoon, housework tomorrow and then COLLAPSE!!!!!! Oh and i need to get the triangle thing out too!!!!

CRAZY KAY eh!!!!!!!! I will take that as a compliment as i did have some fun with your kids. Magic cheese!!!! Yippee, i'm flying! Had a magic cheese omlette on sunday night and pretended to fly round the living room on my broomstick much to Ray's horror!

It was brill seeing you all again and you can come again anytime, hopefully it will be sunny next time and we can have some picnics or BBQs on the beach instead of the meals out?

How's Martins snuffles? I hope he's feeling better now?

Eurgh, i stink of smoke from being in next door so i had better go and change!

Love to you all

xxxxxxxx

Hi Jacq

hope you had a good birthday glad you liked the little angel!

Your plans sound wonderful and of course lucky you going to ep, we are on countdown for France just 2 weeks on Tuesday

I must say my working time in Wales was delightful so much nicer than working here!!!!!!!!!!!!! we visited some wonderful places Margam Park, The Mumbles, the Gower but no waterfalls, the only one I sources with wheelchair access had a landslide so the road was closed. We had the most wonderful cottage, surounded by countryside but close to everything, I have taken quite a fancy to birdwatching no chance here though to many cats

Well have a wonderful time away give Kay and Ray a big hug from mex
