This song keeps going thru my head and i don't even like it but its the version by the big hawaiian guy called Isreal that i like! had a devasting message from my brother on monday!

his 21 year old son has died! God rest Steven Keith Jackson.

we are waiting for the results of the PM but as a family we are reeling, just starting to come to terms with the loss of my mum last march and now this.............

i didn't like the suit i bought for my mums funeral and had hope to lose some weight so i wouldn't have to wear it again, ah hell, life sucks............

DATE: 12/03/2008 12:35:21 / MOOD: happy

its been a while, things been hectic, my sister and dad haved moved to the Gambia (flew out Tuesday!)everyone keeps saying ooh fabulous holidays, but hey I'm not a sun worshipper like she is! kids have had one thing after another, so i have missed a few college sessions looking after them! but managed to go last thursday and started a new crystal therapy course! yay! and been doing plenty of scrapbooking inbetween too wa-hey postie just been and brought me some supplies, but in my excitement to open the envelope and open the goodies i sliced my thumb pad open on the metal bit! so no reflex class for me tonight! its my working thumb! damn and blast!  ah well. so last friday 7/3 was the first anniversary of my mums passing! stayed at home all day and was very quiet until my youngest came up to me at 10.30am and said "Nanny died, didnt she!" Well that was enough to start me off! kids do say the strangest things, When i first told Dominic (my middle one, that my mum had died, he was 4 and 3/4s his first response was "its a funny old world, isnt it mum!" WOW DEEP!

anyhow as tigger says tata for now

ok, so i overdid it on the  savoury cobbler on friday night and the pizza saturday lunchtime, so i didn't have any evening meal but come 10pm sat eve i pigged out on cheese and biccies...... oooooh the pain! well now it seems the emergency doctor sunday morning! diagnosed me with gallstones! and told me to see my GP today, well the locum instead says NO, i have a stomach ulcer, still feeling wuff, so pretty sure its gallstones and not the ulcer, but gotta call him tomorrow to arrange a scan! i wanna have a week where nothing happens and no-one dies or is sick or the other end and no migraines and everyone goes to school and work and just leaves me alone to eat my toast and drink my coffee in peace and quiet! is that too much to ask? hmmm? yes oh ok then......

a strange day
DATE: 21/02/2008 09:23:40 / MOOD: other

so today i have just come back from a friends house after collecting her 7yr old girl so she won't have to attend a family funeral, i have a few things planned to entertain her and my own girl (they are class-mates anyway) scrapbooking and mcds for tea and then a dvd for later and this also involves a sleep-over!!!!!!!!!! kids, why are they crazy about nintendo ds's? my 5yr old boy is crazy for his and we have to fight him to get him to switch the blinking thing off at mealtimes ah well at least he is occupied today, it just means keeping the youngest one (aged 3 neatrly 4) busy, but give him the sky remote and a plain pad and coloured pencils and he is happy also daddy is home from work for the next two days so that has put a smile on faces all round.

anyway, have a good day everybody.
